Do you drool at
all the mountains you pass as you drive up the 395? Can’t
wait to get your climbing shoes on and attach yourself to
one of those walls? Well we can’t blame you. There are
many climbing opportunities available for all ranges of climbers.
From the climbing wall at Mammoth Mountain’s Adventure
Center, to the narliest rock slabs you can find. Popular spots
include the Owens River Gorge and Clarks Canyon.
For more climbing information check with us or the Welcome
Center, located at the entrance to town on Main Street or
at www.visitmammoth.com. You can also call Tourism and Recreation
at (760) 934-2712. Also try 800-MAMMOTH for more information
on the Adventure Center or visit them at www.mammothmountain.com.
